The Only 3 Things You Need to Know to Finally Stop Hiding

Do you know what it feels like to know what to do and even know how to do it, yet feel so stricken with fear that you just want to hide? You’re not alone – many high achieving women struggle with the same thing. They know they have an amazing gift, strength, experience and expertise that they want to share with the world and yet, when it’s time to be the center of attention and to be the face of their brand, it’s hard for them to show up and be seen.

Today, I want to share with you the only three things that you need to know to finally stop hiding.

So, here we go:

  1. Your voice has value. I don’t know if anyone has ever told you, but I’m the one that is called to share this, to remind you, to present it to you in this moment – your voice has amidst value, regardless of what others have said to you or made you believe. Even if you feel like your expertise, your skills, your gifts are basic, I’m here to tell you that your basic is still a blessing for someone. Your basic is a blessing for the people you’re called to serve. People are out here looking for a solution, the solution that you have to offer by way of your gifts, skills, ideas, expertise, your experiences. They are looking for, and it does not require a celebrity, it does not require credentials – it requires you to show up, to own your voice and know without a shadow of a doubt that your voice has value.
  2. People are not even thinking about you. As humans, unless we are thinking about some definite problem, we spend about 95% of our time thinking about ourselves. What does this mean? This means that the majority of people are not even thinking about you as much as you think they are. This means that when you choose not to show up out of fear that other people will judge you and challenge your credibility, you’re only cheating yourself, you’re only confusing yourself and you’re only deceiving yourself. That’s even more reason for you to show up, and when you show up, give people context as to how you fit into their lives, give them context into how you provide a solution for them. Because if we’re thinking about ourselves most of the time, we’re always asking ourselves how does this thing fit into my life, how does this thing help me. You have to be mindful that people are thinking about themselves and you have to be able to show up and show up consistently to provide context for how your product, your service, your gifts, your expertise, fits into their lives.
  3. You are made in the image of God. The final and most important thing you need to know and truly believe is that you are made in the image of God. You’re royalty. When a member of royalty speaks, people listen. You are royalty, but the thing is, you’re hiding. And the people who are listening for your voice, the names that are assigned to your voice cannot hear you. They’re searching, but you’re hiding. Royalty does not hide, royalty does not run. Royalty shows up and royalty speaks up. You have names assigned to your voice, now is the time for you to amplify it because they can’t hear you.
